Talent Pool: Senior AI Automation Specialist

Remote - US/Canada

Join Our Talent Pool: Future AI Automation Specialist

This isn’t a live opening — yet. But by applying, you’ll:

  • Be considered first when the role opens
  • Skip the early screening steps
  • Get updates and early access to related roles

Are you an automation-first operator who thrives at the intersection of AI, execution, and business outcomes? We’re building a talent pool of standout candidates for when the time is right — and we want you in it.

We’re excited to build a future with operators like you — people who build systems that run so efficiently, it’s almost unfair.

About the Role

This role is for someone who eats, sleeps, and breathes AI-driven automation. It’s not a theoretical strategy seat — it’s for an execution-focused operator who can audit systems, build solutions, and deliver immediate business impact.

You will lead automation initiatives across marketing, hiring, finance, and customer success workflows — with the clear mandate to eliminate manual effort, increase accuracy, and scale operations.

This will be a part-time, contractor role, ideal for someone who wants to plug into high-impact projects without the commitment of a full-time position.

What You’ll (Eventually) Be Doing

Automation Implementation

  • Design and implement automation solutions across marketing, finance, HR, and customer support departments to reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency.
  • Develop and execute automation workflows using appropriate technologies including RPA, AI, ML, and integration APIs based on specific departmental needs.
  • Create testing protocols and quality assurance processes to ensure automations function as intended and meet business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize existing automations to improve performance and reliability.

Business Analysis & Planning

  • Analyze current business processes to identify automation opportunities with the highest potential ROI.
  • Document existing workflows and develop detailed process maps to guide automation development.
  • Prepare a comprehensive automation roadmap with clear ROI projections for each initiative.
  • Conduct regular reviews of implemented automations to measure performance against KPIs and ROI targets.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with department leaders to understand pain points and identify high-priority automation candidates.
  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions with end-users to ensure automations address actual needs.
  • Collaborate with internal solution owners to ensure proper integration with existing systems and technical infrastructure.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on automation progress, challenges, and business impact.

Technology Integration

  • Evaluate and recommend automation technologies best suited for specific business processes.
  • Implement integration solutions to connect various business systems and enable seamless data flow.
  • Develop custom automation scripts and workflows when pre-built solutions don't meet requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of all automation implementations for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Experience and Qualifications

Required

  • Execution-Minded: You don't just advise — you build, pilot, launch, and optimize.
  • Technical Flexibility: Develop and execute automation workflows using appropriate technologies including RPA, AI, ML, and integration APIs based on specific departmental needs.
  • Business-Centric Thinker: You intuitively connect automation to business outcomes — time savings, cost reductions, speed to market, quality control.
  • Systems Architect: You see complex workflows and immediately start mapping scalable, sustainable solutions.
  • Autonomous Operator: High agency, bias for action, and obsession with tangible results. Minimal hand-holding needed.
  • Continuous Learner: Committed to staying current with automation technologies.
  • 5–10 Years of experience efficiently creating and handling AI designed Automation processes

Preferred

  • Professional certifications in relevant automation platforms or methodologies.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred).
  • Knowledge of finance automation solutions, including AP/AR automation and financial reporting.
  • Experience with customer success automation initiatives like automating customer success nudges.
  • Previous work integrating AI solutions such as natural language processing or machine learning into business workflows.
  • Experience working in fast-paced startups or operationally complex environments.

Location

  • Contractor role, part-time hours (variable based on project needs)
  • Remote, with preference for those in or aligned with North American time zones

Our Process

  • We will ask you to submit a 5-min video where you showcase your talent, and we can keep a record of your abilities for future positions
  • We will review your resume and compile your information in our database
  • Once we are ready to open the role, we will contact you before the role is live so you can start interviewing
