Do you enjoy digging into complex technical problems and seeing them through to resolution? SafeBreach is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to support our United States enterprise customers. You'll troubleshoot, replicate, and resolve issues across our industry-leading exposure validation platform. This role is a strong fit for an engineer with a few years of support experience who wants to deepen their cybersecurity expertise alongside a collaborative global team.

🚀 THE IMPACT YOU WILL HAVE

  • Serve as a technical point of contact for customer support cases, troubleshooting issues through to resolution
  • Build and maintain customer environments in the support lab, replicate customer issues to isolate root cause and file well-documented defects
  • Own escalations through resolution, partnering with senior engineers and field teams on complex, high-priority cases
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and recommend process improvements
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles, and contribute to internal training and enablement
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, technical operations, product management, and quality assurance

🧬 WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • Professional Experience. 2–5 years in technical support (Tier 2/3) or a similar customer-facing technical role in cybersecurity or SaaS
  • Security Fundamentals & Tools. Working knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and familiarity with detection engineering concepts. Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: SIEM, EDR, firewalls, threat intelligence platforms, or vulnerability management
  • Infrastructure Knowledge. Comfortable troubleshooting across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Troubleshooting Skills. Methodical approach to problem-solving, including log analysis and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, proxies, certificates)
  • Case-Queue Experience. Experience with case management and ticketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, Jira)
  • Customer Focus. Experience supporting enterprise customers, with a commitment to clear, timely, and accurate case communication

đź’Ą EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE

  • Penetration Testing Experience: Hands-on background as a penetration tester, red teamer or security consultant, with a feel for how attackers move through an environment and how to turn findings into clear guidance for customers
  • Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for troubleshooting and automation
  • Experience in a startup or rapidly scaling company
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Network+, cloud associate-level certifications, or security vendor certifications
