Position Overview

Sagard is seeking a Marketing Associate to support the planning and execution of high-impact marketing and communications initiatives that build Sagard’s brand and help drive capital-raising and business growth.

Reporting to the VP, Marketing Communications, this role offers a unique opportunity to work across content creation, digital campaigns, public relations, events, and brand strategy. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, creative generalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to learn how marketing and communications function within a leading global investment firm.

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Coordination:
    Assist in developing, editing, and distributing marketing and thought leadership materials across Sagard’s digital channels (website, LinkedIn, newsletters, and video). Help manage the content calendar and coordinate with internal stakeholders
  • Digital Campaign Execution:
    Support the launch of social and digital campaigns, including paid and organic LinkedIn initiatives. Monitor performance metrics and help prepare simple reporting dashboards and insights
  • Events & Brand Activation:
    Help plan and execute high-profile events, annual meetings, investor forums, and internal town halls. Manage logistics, timelines, and vendor coordination to ensure flawless execution
  • PR & Executive Visibility:
    Partner with external PR agencies and the marketing team to track media coverage, update press materials, and identify visibility opportunities for Sagard leadership
  • Marketing Operations:
    Maintain marketing tools and systems (CRM lists, image libraries, performance tracking). Support reporting on campaign outcomes and audience engagement
  • Cross-Team Collaboration:
    Work closely with business line teams across geographies to ensure consistent brand representation and messaging

Experience & Qualifications

  • 4–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital media, ideally in financial services, asset management, or professional services.
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with social media marketing (especially LinkedIn), event coordination, and content production workflows
  • Experience with marketing tools (e.g., CMS, email platforms, social media scheduling, or analytics) a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
