Senior Marketing Operations Manager

New York, New York, United States

About Us

Sage is on a mission to improve care and quality of life for older adults, starting with those residing in senior living communities. Falls are the leading cause of injury-related death among adults over 65, yet current prevention and emergency response systems are outdated and ineffective. Sage has built a modern approach to detecting when older adults need help and ensuring caregivers can respond quickly and reliably. Our mission is to create products that our partners love—and this role is core to that goal.

We're a small, tight-knit team of ambitious, multi-disciplinary entrepreneurs. As a software-enabled, mission-driven company, we focus relentlessly on the problems that matter most. We work hard and move fast, but we also operate with a marathon mindset: building something meaningful requires pace, intention, and care. The journey matters as much as the outcome.

About This Role

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Operations Manager to build and scale the systems behind Sage’s marketing engine This role is focused on making marketing faster, more reliable, and easier to operate. You’ll own the infrastructure that powers campaigns—designing workflows, improving data quality, and ensuring performance is visible in near real-time.

We’re increasingly incorporating automation and AI into how we work, and this role will play a key part in that evolution. You don’t need to be an expert, but you should be curious and proactive about using new tools to reduce manual work, speed up execution, and improve how insights are generated and shared.

You’ll work at the intersection of Growth, Creative, and RevOps to translate ideas into scalable systems that are clean, efficient, and built to support fast iteration.

This role is in-office three days per week in our New York City office (Tuesday–Thursday).

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring launches are clean, on time, and fully tracked
  • Build and optimize HubSpot systems (segmentation, workflows, lifecycle) with a focus on automation over manual work
  • Proactively identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and accelerate execution and reporting
  • Design and improve workflows across Growth, Creative, and RevOps to reduce friction and increase speed
  • Establish clear, reliable reporting that provides near real-time visibility into performance

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Growth Ops, or similar roles in high-growth environments
  • Deep HubSpot expertise across workflows, segmentation, lifecycle management, and QA
  • Experience building scalable systems and improving operational efficiency
  • Strong understanding of funnel metrics, attribution, and reporting
  • Track record of reducing manual work through automation, tooling, or AI
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Growth, Sales, and Creative teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience incorporating automation or AI tools into marketing workflows
  • Familiarity with tools like Gong, Segment, or modern data pipelines
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting systems that support fast, informed decision-making

We provide competitive base compensation along with stock options. The expected annual salary range for this role is $150,000-$170,000 USD, depending on experience and interview performance.
