What You’ll Do:

  • Accurately package a pipeline of loans that are funneled to you by our team of Mortgage Loan Originators and ensure timely and proactive communication with the borrowers
  • Handle all loan documentation and meeting deadlines
  • Manage a pipeline of an average of 30 loans at a time
  • Determine creditworthiness of the borrowers by gathering and calculating necessary credit reports, qualifying ratios, income and expense data, employment documentation and property values
  • Establish strong upfront relationships with the borrower and work closely with them throughout the loan origination process
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential issues in the origination process
  • Provide feedback to the management team on technical and operational improvements needed and present alternative operating models that could enhance conversion
  • Verify and analyze all necessary financial information and documentation from pre-approval to closing ensuring that loan files are complete and accurate with all necessary credit and legal documents to satisfy underwriting conditions
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external teams throughout the loan process 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2 or more years previous experience actively managing a pipeline of loans
  • Proficient in Encompass, and the Microsoft office suite
  • A solid understanding of the mortgage loan process and types of loans available
  • Experience processing FNMA, FHLMC, FHA and Jumbo residential mortgages
  • Knowledge of agency conventional underwriting product guidelines
  • Proactive and engaging communication with an ability to thoughtfully guide borrowers through the loan process
  • Highly organized and have the ability to solve problems autonomously
