Post Close Servicing Coordinator | Sage Home Loans

We’re seeking a detail-driven, client-focused professional to join our team as a Post-Close Mortgage Servicing Coordinator. In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between closing and ongoing servicing—ensuring our clients receive high-touch support and seamless communication after their loan closes. You’ll manage post-close servicing tasks, oversee payment processes (including escrow, taxes, and title disbursements), and handle escalations with urgency and empathy. This is a client-facing role where strong phone skills, problem-solving ability, and multitasking are essential to delivering an exceptional borrower experience. 

This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our South Charlotte, NC Headquarters (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week. 

What You'll Do 

  • Manage post-close servicing activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all functions. 
  • Oversee payment processes, including escrow analysis, tax disbursements, title company coordination, and receipt of borrower payments. 
  • Act as the primary escalation point for post-close servicing matters, resolving issues promptly while maintaining a client-first mindset. 
  • Deliver high-level customer service via phone and written communication, ensuring borrowers receive clear, timely, and professional responses. 
  • Serve as the liaison between the closing team, servicing partners (e.g., ServiceMac or other subservicers), and clients to ensure a smooth transfer and ongoing servicing experience. 
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve servicing issues proactively to reduce errors and improve client outcomes. 
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance processes, streamline workflows, and strengthen compliance controls. 
  • Monitor borrower feedback and performance metrics to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery. 

 

What We're Looking For 

  • 3+ years of mortgage servicing experience. 
  • Experience working with ServiceMac or another third-party servicing company strongly preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage payment processes, escrow management, tax disbursements, and title company coordination. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with proven ability to manage escalations under pressure. 
  • Exceptional phone and communication skills, with a client-first approach to service. 
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. 
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. 

 

Compensation 

  • USA Compensation Range: $21-32/hour  

*Note actual compensation is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
