As a Mortgage Loan Originator on our Sales team, you'll be the first voice a client hears—and the trusted guide they rely on throughout their homebuying journey. You’ll engage directly with prospective and current clients over phone and email, providing clear, expert guidance on loan products, prequalification, and next steps—all while building strong relationships rooted in trust and transparency. Working closely with our Operations and Processing teams, you’ll manage a robust pipeline, make outbound calls to generate new business, and own the client experience from first conversation through closing. You’ll join a team that thrives on coachability, collaboration, and a shared obsession with putting clients first—because we know that winning the right way is the only way. What You'll Do 

  • Answer inbound customer calls to discuss various loan products, prequalification criteria, and next steps 
  • Communicate loan progress clearly to consumers and collect any required documentation 
  • Make outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers to generate new business and strengthen retention 
  • Monitor and actively manage a pipeline of leads and loans to meet conversion goals and cycle time targets 

What We're Looking For 

  • At least 3 years of mortgage sales experience with a proven track record of performance and client trust 
  • NMLS-licensed mortgage loan originator with hands-on experience in originating a wide range of loan products 
  • Full understanding of FHA, VA, and Conventional mortgage products and their unique benefits to clients 
  • Strong knowledge of consumer lending regulations, including fair lending, privacy, RESPA, and TILA — and a commitment to always doing the right thing 
  • Excellent phone sales skills with the ability to connect, empathize, and guide clients confidently through the loan process 
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines and service expectations 
  • A natural relationship-builder who can collaborate across teams and foster trust with both internal partners and external clients 
  • Demonstrated coachability, adaptability, and a growth mindset — always striving to leave the woodpile higher 
  • Takes ownership of the client experience and communicates proactively to exceed expectations and uphold our service-level commitments 
  • Energized by a culture that values speed, ethics, impact, and accountability — and driven by a desire to win the right way 

 

Compensation 

  • USA Compensation Range: $35K plus applicable incentives
