Job Title: DIR Software Engineering
Worksite: 8840 Cypress Waters Blvd, Suite 190, Coppell, TX 75019
Job duties: Lead and coordinate software engineering projects to develop IT products utilized in the Mortgage Servicing industry. Responsible for the functional, technical and implementation related aspects of the work products being produced. Utilize extensive business, technical, and procedural knowledge in order to own the workflow, budget, staff, output and overall standards and procedures of a substantial application development group. Direct, lead and deliver application development projects through the application of comprehensive software development life cycle processes. Collaborate and partner with business to plan and execute development projects, ensures that teams have appropriate products and technical specifications, direction and resources to deliver projects related to developing mortgage servicing investor reporting software solutions for Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and Ginnie Mae on an ambitious, but achievable timeline. Provide technical leadership and guidance on software development tools, technology and Agile development methodologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years in any job title involving experience with software engineering in the Mortgage Servicing industry. Prior experience must include the following: 5 years working with IT service management processes and protocols; 5 years managing IT teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders; 5 years influencing and orchestrating a team’s efforts to drive, triage, diagnosis, and resolve Major Incidents; 5 years working with Microsoft .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Confluent Kafka, and Java; 5 years serving as a software engineering project lead, including scheduling, prioritizing, organizing, planning, problem solving, and decision-making; 5 years working with Agile Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) and Agile development methodology; 5 years working with project management, project planning, and project organization; 3 years developing mortgage servicing investor reporting software solutions for Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and Ginnie Mae; and 2 years working with Confluent KAFKA.
