Strategic Sales Director – Financial Services Transformation (Consumer Banking)
About JazzX AI
Vision: Enterprises operating on institutional intelligence—governed, self-improving, and scalable beyond individual expertise. JazzX AI is defining the future of enterprise work—by building AI-native digital workers that actually get the job done.
We believe enterprises don't scale expertise—they lose it. Knowledge stays trapped in individuals, judgment gets applied inconsistently, and the best talent spends time on work that should run itself. We're changing that.
JazzX AI transforms messy enterprise reality into institutional intelligence: governed digital workers that capture expert judgment, make every decision explainable, and continuously improve through real-world execution. The result is faster decisions, higher-quality outcomes, and reliable execution at scale—in domains where getting it wrong isn't an option.
We're starting with lending and due-diligence workflows—complex, regulated, high-stakes. From here, we're building the backbone for enterprise intelligence across industries.
This is early-stage, hard, and consequential work. If you want to be part of bringing AI systems to market that actually run in production, handle real complexity, and deliver real outcomes—not demos, not chatbots—JazzX AI is the place.

Strategic Sales Director – Financial Services Transformation (Consumer Banking)
Role Summary
The Strategic Sales Director is responsible for originating, shaping, and closing large-scale, transformative partnerships with leading financial institutions, including Independent Mortgage Banks (IMBs) and Consumer Banking divisions of Banks.
This is not a traditional enterprise sales role. The Strategic Sales Director operates as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, helping financial institutions reimagine core operating models using AI-driven automation and intelligence. The role requires the ability to identify enterprise-level operational and economic challenges, architect multi-year transformation roadmaps, and lead complex, executive-driven buying processes.
This role intentionally targets candidates who have sold broad, cross-functional transformation initiatives within consumer banks.
This role focuses on opening new logos, creating strategic demand and nurturing those logos thereafter. The individual will pursue a defined set of named, “must-have” accounts and will be expected to think, shape, and sell high-value, multi-year transformation deals that materially change how financial institutions operate.
This is a rare opportunity to define and sell category-shaping transformation deals that will reset how large financial institutions operate for the next decade.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Deal Creation & Transformation Selling
- Identify systemic operational, cost, risk, and scalability challenges across financial services organizations and reframe them as enterprise transformation opportunities.
- Lead executive-level problem definition before solution definition, shaping the strategic narrative for why change is required.
- Architect multi-year transformation programs by defining future-state operating models, phased roadmaps, and value realization plans.
- Co-create compelling business cases with customer leadership that link AI adoption directly to P&L impact, cost reduction, margin expansion, and risk mitigation.
Enterprise New Logo Acquisition
- Own and execute the full-cycle enterprise sales process for new logo acquisition across Consumer Banks and IMBs.
- Prospect, qualify, and penetrate high-value target accounts using insight-led, hypothesis-driven outreach.
- Build and lead relationships with economic buyers and executive stakeholders, including CEOs, COOs, CIOs, Chief Digital Officers, and Heads of Operations, Risk, Compliance, Credit, and Business Lines.
- Navigate and lead complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes across business, technology, operations, and governance teams.
Value Articulation & Solution Shaping
- Translate JazzX AGI capabilities into clear, differentiated business outcomes across mortgage and adjacent banking workflows.
- Develop executive-ready ROI, value, and transformation models grounded in financial services economics.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Deployment, and Customer Success teams to shape enterprise-grade solutions aligned to customer transformation goals.
- Position JazzX as a long-term strategic transformation partner rather than a point solution or vendor.
Market Leadership & Feedback
- Represent JazzX’s transformation vision at industry events, executive briefings, and customer workshops.
- Provide structured, actionable market feedback to inform product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
- Maintain strong awareness of competitive dynamics, regulatory pressures, and operating challenges across mortgage and broader banking environments.
Required Attributes & Competencies
Enterprise Transformation & Commercial Acumen
- Demonstrated experience originating and closing complex, multi-year enterprise deals involving platform adoption, operating model change, and executive sponsorship.
- Proven ability to sell large, strategic deals (typically $10M+ total contract value) driven by business outcomes rather than feature comparison.
- Comfort engaging at the C-suite and board level on strategy, economics, operating leverage, and risk.
Consumer Banking Expertise (Lending experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of financial services operating models and economics within regulated environments.
- Experience selling into Banks, IMBs, or large financial institutions across one or more functions, such as:
- Mortgage origination, underwriting, servicing, or secondary markets
- Operations and shared services
- Risk, compliance, credit, or fraud
- Finance, data, or enterprise transformation initiatives
- Direct mortgage domain experience is highly preferred but not required for candidates with strong banking transformation backgrounds.
- Ability to rapidly translate cross-functional banking experience into mortgage-specific use cases and value models.
AI & Business Value Translation
- Strong understanding of AI, automation, and data-driven platforms, with the ability to link technology capabilities to tangible business outcomes.
- Experience modeling the economic impact of technology adoption across enterprise workflows.
- Skilled at communicating complex concepts clearly to both executive business leaders and technical stakeholders.
Sales Discipline & Execution
- Proven ability to self-source pipeline and create strategic demand in complex enterprises.
- Experience running long, multi-stakeholder deal cycles with disciplined qualification and forecasting.
- Strong CRM hygiene, deal inspection, and forecast accuracy.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 12-24 months, success in this role includes:
- Closed multiple large, multi-year strategic transformation partnerships with Tier-1 financial institutions.
- Positioned JazzX as a trusted transformation partner embedded in customers’ long-term AI and operating strategy.
- Built strong executive champions at the C-suite and board level.
- Delivered measurable financial, operational, and risk-reduction outcomes for customers.
- Created repeatable deal archetypes for large-scale mortgage and banking transformation sales.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with a strong emphasis on new logo acquisition.
- Proven experience selling into Banks, IMBs, or regulated financial services organizations.
- Background selling AI/ML platforms, data platforms, SaaS, workflow automation, or enterprise transformation programs.
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding multi-million-dollar sales quotas.
- Demonstrated ability to sell complex change, not just technology.
