Role Summary 

The Pre-Sales Consultant at JazzX works with Go to Market team enabling them to move faster in the sales cycle, demonstrate clear value from the JazzX platform, and helps close deals with confidence. 

Working alongside Sales Directors and Pre-Sales Architects, the Pre-Sales Consultant drives early-stage engagement — researching key target accounts, qualifying requirements, delivering compelling demonstrations, responding to RFIs/RFPs, and building proof-of-concept flows that bring JazzX’s AI platform to life for enterprise buyers. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Serve as the first solution advisor to prospective customers on JazzX’s AGI platform, and vertical solutions for the Mortgage industry 

• Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer workflows, pain points, and technical environments. 

• Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations using the JazzX platform and Builder Studio. 

• Build and present compelling proof-of-concept (POC) flows for mortgage use cases such as Underwriter Assist, Processor Assist, and Servicer Assist. 

• Respond to RFIs and RFPs, translating technical platform capabilities into business-relevant narratives. 

• Partner with Sales Directors to qualify opportunities and shape deal strategy. 

• Collaborate with Pre-Sales Architects on technical feasibility and solution scoping. 

• Address questions related to security, privacy, compliance, model accuracy, and integration. 

• Stay current on Mortgage industry trends, competitive landscapes, and AI platform developments. 

• Contribute to a shared library of reusable pre-sales assets, decks, and demo scripts. 

• Liaise with Product Managers to channel field feedback on product requirements and roadmap gaps. 

 Required Attributes & Competencies 

1. AI & Platform Exposure 

• Strong grasp of AI, ML, LLMs, and Agentic AI concepts and practical applications. 

• Familiarity with enterprise SaaS and AI platforms and use of Agentic AI,  

• Comfort in demonstrating AI solutions in demo environments is a strong plus. 

 2. Customer-Facing Communication 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present confidently to business and technical stakeholders. 

• Strong storytelling ability and presentation skills — translating platform features into business outcomes and ROI narratives. 

• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders across a customer organization (IT, Operations, Business, leadership stakeholders). 

• Experience working in a cross-functional environment with Sales, Engineering, and Solutions Delivery teams. 

 3. Pre-sales and bid response experience  

• Experience in responding to large pre-sales deals, creating compelling proposal responses and business value articulations.   

• Strong analytical thinking; able to quickly research and assess customer needs and propose tailored solutions. 

• Comfortable working across multiple deals and accounts simultaneously without losing quality. 

• Self-directed, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment. 

 Qualifications 

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, or technical sales role. 

• Prior experience in a SaaS organization is required. 

• Experience engaging with mid-size and large enterprise customers in the US Mortgage industry or similar experience in other geographies   

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, MBA or equivalent practical experience. 

• Mortgage or financial services industry experience is preferred but not required.
