SPECIALIST DEVELOPER (L 1)

As a Specialist Developer, you’ll support the Development team as you work towards specializing in your area of focus.

Developer Responsibilities

  • Uses HTML/CSS, Javascript, and Adobe Dreamweaver skills to edit code for emails, landing pages, and forms and optimize them for responsiveness.
  • Builds, imports, exports, and tests emails in Pardot and Email on Acid
  • Troubleshoots and optimizes emails across various email platforms for successful email deliverability
  • Builds, exports, and tests landing pages using Webflow and Pardot
  • Supports team members with platform, behavior, and technical best practices
  • Advises stakeholders of web development best practices 
  • Diagnoses and resolves general Dev problems timely and effectively, and proposes possible solutions to team lead
  • Understands current tech industry trends, and takes initiative to stay updated
  • Provides process and tech improvement suggestions and solutions to team lead
  • Can assist Team Lead in training new Dev team members
  • May be asked to assist Dev Team Lead with task delegation, leading team huddles, and answering questions in lead's absence
  • Leads short trainings/demos in their area of expertise

Specialty Focused Responsibilities

  • Combine web development skills and Salesforce/Pardot skills to provide custom functionality for our clients
  • Serve as internal resource on basic Pardot and Salesforce behavioral questions, as well as web development best practices
  • Perform Excel file audits, vlookup formulas, general formulas, pivot tables, and data sorting
  • Assist with executing intermediate-advanced Pardot tasks, such as building and testing forms, styling forms using CSS, setting completion actions, Pardot audits, reviewing reports and data, creating a new user, building engagement studios, etc
  • Assist with Salesforce and Pardot process documentation and platform research 

App Development Specialty:

  • Drive advanced app development research and process documentation
  • Serve as internal expert on javascript, React, C++, C#, and any other coding languages/skills required for developing effective applications in line with industry standards
  • Develop custom apps, tools, and workflows to help streamline SLX’s internal processes for maximum efficiency
  • Develop client facing features associated with the SLX Client Portal

Requirements

  • Expert HTML/CSS skills
  • Beginner Javascript skills
  • Beginner CSS Animation skills
  • Competent WordPress and Elementor skills
  • Beginner Salesforce knowledge and skills
  • Proficient Pardot knowledge and skills
  • Comfortable working in Excel 
  • Beginner understanding of graphic design principles
  • Proficient time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient level of efficiency and accuracy, very detail oriented
  • Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient ability to work well under pressure
  • Confident with change, is flexible, adaptable, and open-minded
  • Beginner public speaking and presentation skills
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Able to communicate well and work collaboratively as part of a larger team
  • Able to work independently. Is diligent and reliable. 
  • Very comfortable learning new technical skills and platforms
  • Has a good understanding and strong interest in marketing technology and systems. 
  • Pardot Specialist certification within the first year of employment
  • Salesforce Administrator certification within the first year of employment

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related experience
  • 1 year Marketing experience (Preferred, not required)
  • 1 year experience with JavaScript

Job Type: Full-time 

Pay: $65,000 -$75,000 per year
