As a Marketing Strategist, you'll be working with both clients and our internal teams to provide valuable marketing suggestions and solutions internally and externally. On the client end, you’ll advise clients on best practices and strategy to help them run successful marketing initiatives. Internally, you’ll work collaboratively with our Account Coordinators to ensure clients’ marketing needs are accurately translated into tasks. You will also collaborate with our design, Salesforce, Pardot, and development teams to ensure that marketing strategy is executed accurately in client projects.

Responsibilities

  • Leads marketing strategy calls with clients. Communicates clearly and timely, and maintains good-working relationships with clients. 
  • Leads client strategy sessions independently, can support Account Coordinators in their client sessions
  • Presents strategic marketing recommendations to meet the client’s goals, based on research, industry knowledge, and best practices. Comfortable leading presentations, and can advise clients on driving strategic cohesion across all related efforts and projects.
  • Provides ongoing strategic and tactical advice to clients on a wide range of digital marketing topics, and continues to highlight the client’s value in the digital marketing space.
  • Maintains an in-depth understanding of clients’ needs, business, products, and market. Conduct regular reviews of their competitors’ activities and online presence.
  • Creates or contributes to various marketing strategy assets, such as creative briefs, positioning statements, brand ecosystem maps, digital communication plans, research plans, social media strategies, customer journeys, and digital strategy roadmaps.
  • Communicates strategic needs and goals of clients to Account Coordinators, and helps ensure accuracy in strategy goals in tasks built for clients. 
  • Provides marketing strategy guidance, problem solving, and advice to internal teams for task completion.
  • Stays up to date with on marketing trends, regularly shares knowledge with team members and clients. 
  • Report on marketing attribution metrics and identify any changes needed. 
  • Prepare campaign forecasts that are requested by current clients. 
  • Experiments with new marketing tools and techniques to constantly improve our strategic processes and output.
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses for current clients.
  • Researches tools and approaches in marketing and project management for team growth
  • Suggests improvements to client service and experience to Team Lead.
  • Escalates critical client feedback, resolves intermediate-advanced level issues quickly and effectively.
  • Embodies and promotes SLX and RISE values.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of brand and product marketing, multi-channel marketing, digital marketing and related technologies, web analytics, social media, mobile and device trends, and large enterprise marketing needs.
  • Familiarity with Digital Marketing and CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to assess and resolve complex marketing challenges for varied client needs.
  • Ability to support multiple clients in a fast-paced and self-driven environment
  • Ability to focus and work under pressure during tight deadlines with humor, tact, and professionalism
  • Excellent relationship management skills and follow-up skills
  • Pardot Specialist Certified (preferred, but not required) 
  • Pardot Consultant Certified (preferred, but not required) 
  • Salesforce Admin Certified (preferred, but not required) 
  • Proficient knowledge of WordPress and Hootsuite 
  • Proficient level of efficiency and accuracy (detail-oriented)
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Adaptable and excited about fast growth
  • Passionate about helping people and speaking with people
  • Ability to take initiative and make things happen
  • Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc. are highly preferred

Experience

  • Marketing/Marketing Consulting or Similar Field: 3-5 years experience (Required) 
  • Customer Service: Minimum 2 years (Preferred)
