Role Overview
The Media Executive will support a diverse mix of U.S.-based clients in the CPG, retail, and gym/fitness categories. This role is focused on media implementation and reporting. The ideal candidate is proficient in social media platforms, Google Analytics, and Google AdWords, and is comfortable building relationships with internal teams and clients alike.
Core Responsibilities

Support the Media Supervisor with campaign implementation, optimization, and reporting

Assist with client planning and handle day-to-day client requests

Coordinate with media vendors to book, implement, and report on campaigns

Help prepare and present integrated media plans, proposals, and performance analyses

Monitor media plan performance and suggest optimizations
-
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing
-
Ensure adherence to Salt's values, philosophies, and planning processes

Provide proactive input on client business, internal workflows, and industry trends

Track KPIs and ensure appropriate check-ins and reporting are in place

Understand client objectives and manage planning requirements effectively

Present compelling recommendations and highlight the benefits of proposed strategies

Contribute to internal agency or team projects as needed

Support other departments by ensuring digital media requirements are clearly communicated
Experience & Skills
-
2+ years of experience at a media agency in a digital-focused role
-
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or Advertising

Hands-on experience with:

Google Analytics
-
Google Ads
-
Paid Social (Business Manager accounts)
-

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Strong attention to detail

Experience with Google Data Studio (asset, not required)

Google Certifications (required)

Experience planning and executing campaigns for Fortune 100 brands

Familiarity with CRM, SEO, SEM, programmatic, social, mobile, and video media

Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify (asset)
