Talent Acquisition Manager
Role Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our global Talent Acquisition function in support of company goals and priorities. In this role, you will manage a high-performing team, oversee all aspects of the recruiting process for both Corporate and Production staff, and lead talent management for our new Generative AI business unit. We are seeking a leader capable of developing talent and applying best talent acquisition practices, who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and manage a requisition from time to time. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes ensuring a seamless candidate experience and efficient workflows.
- Manage, coach, and develop a global team of Talent Acquisition professionals based in Canada and Kenya.
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand talent needs and develop tailored recruitment plans.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture while ensuring individual team members achieve their goals.
- Serve as the primary People leader for all talent matters in Gen AI by leading dedicated resources and initiatives, including talent acquisition, assessments, onboarding, and training.
- Serve on the Gen AI Steerco and collaborate with cross functional leaders to achieve business outcomes.
- Recruit and manage Gen AI contractors and/or staff and oversee the Gen AI work of the entire People team.
- Optimize associate recruiting based on both Gen AI and computer vision needs.
- Lead global projects to refine talent acquisition processes, policies, and systems for scalability and efficiency.
- Identify recruiting metrics and analyze data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen the company's employer brand globally.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling recruitment campaigns and content.
- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, including HRBPs, hiring managers, and executives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on market trends, talent acquisitions tactics, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience working in multiple time zones, with a willingness to work with a flexible schedule depending on business needs.
- Expertise in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Demonstrated success in implementing talent acquisition tactics and driving process improvements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Extremely organized, responsive and able to build relationships through trust.
- Knowledge of hiring practices, employment laws, and cultural nuances in hiring; global experience preferred.
- Experience recruiting for technical roles; roles in emerging fields such as Gen AI preferred.
