Position Summary:
As a Tax Strategist, you will play a key role in optimizing our tax processes and uncovering opportunities for mitigation. You’ll work closely with the leadership to monitor policy changes, and assess their impact on our company. Collaborating with consultants and stakeholders, you’ll help navigate tax challenges while contributing to strategic decision-making. Your expertise will also support ad-hoc projects and ensure compliance reporting is accurate and timely.
Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement process improvements
- Review and oversee tax filings to ensure compliance and accuracy on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Overseeing various State, Local and Economic Development Compliance audits.
- Stay abreast of legislative and regulatory tax laws and proactively communicate those changes to leadership to ensure risk reduction and planning
- Work alongside consultants provide proactive mitigation and solutions to various ad hoc tax issues.
The Successful Candidate Will Possess:
- 8+ years experience working in technical tax field
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in Accounting, Tax, or Law
- CPA preferred

NOTE: This position is required to be on-site full time.
