Samsung Knox is looking for a Staff UX Designer to lead the experience strategy and design execution for our security, AI, and productivity solutions. Position summary:
In this role, you will own the end-to-end UX across web and mobile platforms, driving design direction for production-ready products and major release cycles. You’ll collaborate closely with PM, engineering, and QA to ensure our experiences are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with Samsung’s design standard. As a senior leader, you’ll also mentor designers across levels, champion research-driven design, and help shape the future of Samsung Knox.
Position Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the UX vision and strategy across wen and mobile products for security, AI, and productivity solutions
- Own end-to-end UX for production-ready products and lead design execution through release cycles
- Collaborate with PM and engineering to influence product direction and roadmap priorities
- Deliver wireframes, flows, and design specs that align with sprint timelines and development milestones
- Oversee cross-platform consistency through scalable design systems and patterns
- Partner with researchers to plan and apply insights that inform decisions and long-term strategies
- Mentor and coach designers across levels, elevating craft, communication, and strategic thinking within the team
- Present and advocate for UX to stakeholders and executive audiences
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and collaboration
Required Skills:
- Bachelor Degree, or Master Degree preferred, in Design, HCI, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 8+ years of professional UX or product design experience, including enterprise or productivity platforms
- Ability to lead large-scale design initiatives from concept through launch
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates design process and polished product design solution that meet the needs of the users and business goals
- Deep understanding of user-centered design, research methods, and usability best practices
- Experience collaborating in Agile environments, supporting sprints, QA, and production releases
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to align stakeholders across product, design, and engineering
- Experience mentoring other designers and leading design reviews
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Sketch
Base Pay Range
$179,200 - $246,150 USD
