Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and talented intern to join our team as a 2025 Summer Intern focusing on XR Frameworks development. As part of the Samsung Research America (SRA/MPS) lab, you will be working on the next generation of AR/XR frameworks technologies using C++. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of proof of concepts that will shape the future of augmented and mixed reality experiences.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement proof of concepts for next-generation AR/XR framework technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of developed solutions.
- Work on the design, development, and optimization of XR frameworks using C++.
- Conduct debugging and troubleshooting to identify and address issues promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to XR frameworks.
- Gain hands-on experience working on cutting-edge AR/XR technologies.
- Collaborate with experienced professionals and contribute to real-world projects.
- Networking opportunities with industry leaders and professionals.

Required Skills:
- Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Computer Science.
- Strong proficiency in C++.
- Familiarity with 3D graphics concepts and technologies.
- Experience with OpenGL or Vulkan is a plus.
- Solid debugging skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Hourly Pay Rate Range
$44 - $63 USD
