Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and talented intern to join our team as a 2025 Summer Intern focusing on XR Frameworks development. As part of the Samsung Research America (SRA/MPS) lab, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects focused on AR/XR frameworks and advance image generative AI. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of proof of concepts that will shape the future of augmented and mixed reality experiences.
Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop and implement advanced image generative AI algorithms.
- Work on AR/XR frameworks, contributing to the design and development of proof-of-concept solutions.
- Independently conduct research and experimentation to push the boundaries of image generation in the AR/XR space.
- Utilize PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Python to implement machine learning models and algorithms.
- Work on cutting-edge projects at the forefront of AR technology.
- Collaborate with a diverse and talented team of researchers and engineers.
- Gain hands-on experience in developing proof-of-concept solutions.
- Access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources.
Required Skills:
- Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Computer Science.
- Strong knowledge of deep/machine learning principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with Image Generation AI.
- Proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Python programming languages.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
Hourly Pay Rate Range
$44 - $63 USD
