What You’ll Do
- Create a DevOps framework, including CI/CD capabilities, Configuration Management, and Source Code Management
- Support, develop, enhance, and maintain our cloud and data center infrastructure for high availability and scale
- Configuring and integrating with third-party services; Managing build systems.
- Frequently, run performance testing, identify potential performance issues and help the team find a resolution
- Ownership of the cloud-based products (aws, gcp, azure) and services you build, understand and continuously be aware of data security requirements of our various data sources (e.g. analytics services, stream events data, etc.)
- Develop and support automate continuous integration pipeline w/containers & using tools like Jenkins and Bamboo
- Develop/Enhance complex data driven Automation framework to support deployment of Software, Cloud modules, and distributed software.
- Develop Performance validation test cases & Quickly understand system and validate system software features, functionality and performance aspects
- Come up new test cases, test plans that can exercise the functionality of distributed software.
- Define and develop automation software requirements and implement automation software designs using popular scripting languages
- Setup test framework to have continuous integration pipeline for smoke/regression/performance validation
- Collaborate with internal development and QA teams to help ensure end-to-end quality
- Support Open Source development and troubleshoot issues along the CI/CD pipeline
- Other duties as assigned.
Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose office/headquarters 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time.

What You Bring
- BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum of 10+ years of experience developing enterprise software solutions in C/C++ on Linux or a MS in Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science with 8+ years or PhD in engineering or related Science with 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer, preferably on SaaS engineering team
- 3+ years of developing software using agile methods
- Strong experience in containerization and kubernetes deployment/orchestration
- Strong experience in scripting languages like Python, Shell etc.
- Experience in Open source repositories management and development
- Strong Experience in Code Coverage Tools (e.g. Sonarqube, Coverity etc.)
- Require Good understanding and experience in continuous integration/continuous deployment tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy, Maven)
- Prefer to have experience using infrastructure as code tools like AWS CloudFormation / configuration management tools like Puppet or Chef
- Require experience in SCM tools (SVN, Git) - Branching Strategy, Merging, Pull Requests etc.
- Require extensive experience with AWS services including but not limited to EC2, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, Route 53, CodeDeploy, SQS, SNS. Or similar IAAS product from Azure or GCP
- Essential to have experience with monitoring and logging tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, Zabbix, LogicMonitor and Nagios
- Essential to have firm grasp of the web stack protocols / technologies (e.g., headers, caching, WebSockets, IP/TCP/HTTP(S), SSL/TLS, CDNs, DNS, proxies)
- Essential to have solid experience in Atlassian tool integration: JIRA, bitbucket, crucible/fisheye, confluence, and Jenkins
- Essential to have hands-on understanding of Terraform, Ansible, Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, Jenkins, Maven etc
- Prefer to have experience building and operating distributed / large scale systems
- Track record of innovation and creativity in problem solving.
- Must be highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a multinational environment and understands how to leverage cultural diversity.

Base Pay Range
$157,000 - $243,000 USD
