What You’ll Do
Accounting Manager is based in San Jose, CA and a key member of the Accounting Department, reporting to the Sr. Director of Accounting. The candidate will demonstrate a deep knowledge of financial accounting and provide innovative solutions for process and policy improvement in overall Accounting operations. The responsibilities include performing a variety of tasks ranging from routine to complex analysis, including various data analysis, maintaining internal controls, leading process innovation projects, preparing accounting reports, etc. Also, the Accounting Manager will collaborate with the key stakeholders to understand and identify risks associated to current process and system, provide methodologies to optimize operational efficiency and drive improvements and automation where possible.

- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Company's financial records.
- Analyze accounting data, including revenue, COGS and OPEX, and interpret statistical information to identify areas of improvements and make suggestions for improvements.
- Support day-to day and month-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, various accounting reports of financial results.
- Understand overall accounting operation by participating in different functions’ day-to-day operations.
- Develop, implement, and communicate policies and procedures within the department focusing on continuous improvement efforts to maximize efficacy and efficiency.
- Prepare various accounting reports of financial results and perform in-depth flux analysis.
- Responds to inquiries from management regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
- Continuously apply process improvement methodology and mindset to execute meaningful and measurable improvement to the various existing processes in overall accounting operations.
- Assist Head of Accounting in various cross-functional projects and participate in various ad-hoc special projects as assigned.
- Assist other team members’ daily responsibilities as a backup when necessary.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in Accounting (large public company experiences desirable).
- CPA or big 4 experiences.
- Korean language skill is a big plus.
- Strong working knowledge of key business processes (financial close, order to collect, procure to pay, etc.).
- Experiences and knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
- Strong project management/organizational and planning skills; ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills to prioritize workload and meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to exercise good judgement and resolve conflicts with vendors and internal business partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to analyze and write commentary to explain results/variances in a concise and clear manner.
- Self-motivated individual with demonstrated experience and continuous desire in improving and streamlining processes.
- A results-oriented team-player with a proactive, and positive can-do attitude.
- Experience in SAP or other ERP system is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, V-Lookup).

Base Pay Range
$137,375 - $212,625 USD
