What You’ll Do
Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting is based in San Jose, CA and a key member of the Accounting Department, reporting to the Sr. Director of Accounting. The Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting will drive financial accounting excellence and innovation. This role requires a collaborative, results-oriented professional who can lead multiple projects, influence stakeholders, and drive process improvements.

- Lead month-end closing processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports, as well as performing in-depth analysis.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of sales deduction postings.
- Manage day-to-day GL accounting functions, including lease accounting.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and support quarterly and annual external financial audits.
- Oversee the deal review process, including assessing revenue recognition implications and providing accounting guidance to the Sales Organization.
- Conduct technical accounting research to determine the proper accounting treatment for new or complex business transactions.
- Research new and emerging accounting pronouncements or standards, assess their applicability, and recommend adoption strategies.
- Manage the Company’s chart of accounts to maintain efficient and effective GL lists.
- Respond to management inquiries regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
- Analyze accounting data to identify areas for improvement and suggest enhancements.
- Continuously apply process improvement methodologies to develop and refine accounting policies and procedures.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and ad-hoc special projects as assigned.
- Assist other team members with their daily responsibilities as needed.
What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in Accounting, preferably in a large public company.
- CPA and/or Big 4 experience is preferred.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills, with experience in writing accounting memos.
- In-depth knowledge of key business processes (financial close, order to collect, procure to pay, etc.) and US GAAP or IFRS.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence others and earn respect.
- Ability to exercise good judgment, resolve conflicts, and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Results-oriented team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Korean language skills are desirable but not required.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V-Lookup).

Base Pay Range
$137,375 - $212,625 USD
