Position Summary:
Sands Capital is seeking a motivated Client Relations Associate to provide day-to-day support and servicing to existing clients, consultants, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders. This role involves responding to client and consultant inquiries, client reporting, client onboarding, and maintaining critical operational systems (e.g., Salesforce). Work Expectations:
This role is expected to work from our Arlington, Virginia office (HQ) on a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week in-office (specifically, Tuesdays and Wednesdays) or more as directed by your manager, depending on the role and team needs. Please know that the hybrid schedule is subject to change, as directed by our Executive Management Team, at any time.
Position Responsibilities:
The Client Service Team seeks to provide superior service to both internal and external counterparts. The position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serving as the day-to-day contact for clients, consultants, and intermediaries;
- Accurately fulfilling customized data requests to illustrate investment results, attribution, portfolio characteristics, etc., of the firm’s public equity portfolios;
- Completing due diligence questionnaires and other client reporting requests;
- Coordinating client onboarding by supporting contract negotiation and operational setup;
- Maintaining client information, databases, and metrics utilized by the Client Relations Team for use in its business development and client retention efforts;
- Developing a deep understanding of Sands Capital’s investment philosophy, strategies, and vehicle offerings;
- Executing other departmental or firm wide projects, as requested;
- Performing other professional and administrative responsibilities, as needed; and
- Exhibiting behaviors consistent with Sands Capital’s Mission, Values, and culture.
Position Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited university;
- Strong interest and understanding of global capital markets and growth equity investing;
- Fast learner with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Detail-oriented, highly responsive, with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across functional teams and all levels of the organization;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with senior professionals and subject matter experts;
- Demonstrable ability to perform position responsibilities independently with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy;
- Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills;
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (specifically, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); and
- Experience with Advent APX, FactSet, Loopio, Salesforce, Seismic, and investment-management related databases (e.g., eVestment) a plus.

Salary and Benefits:
Sands Capital offers competitive compensation and generous benefits. For this role, the salary range is $80k to $110k and will be determined by the candidate’s professional experience and relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. Sands Capital may also pay a discretionary, performance-based bonus which is targeted as a percentage of base salary and varies by position and position level. The actual bonus paid, if any, is based on the achievement of quantitative and/ or qualitative goals as well as the success of the firm.
