Position: Prep Cook / Delivery Driver
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Schedule: Part Time | Variable Schedule
Compensation: $16-17 Per Hour
About The Role
The Prep Cook / Delivery Driver plays a key role in our food service team, assisting with meal preparation, food delivery, and maintaining kitchen operations. This position requires a strong focus on food safety, nutrition, and efficiency in meal transport to multiple locations, including residential and outpatient facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, safe driving practices, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Meal Prep, and Cooking for adult clients in a medical detox treatment setting for substance use and mental health diagnosis.
- Driving a 15-passenger van to transport food from the offsite kitchen to the treatment facility
- Supporting the Head Chef with projects as needed to benefit the overall success of our Kitchen Team including kitchen maintenance and cleaning.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 months of experience in food preparation / cooking
- Candidates must have a valid CO driver's license and meet requirements to be covered by company insurance
- Candidates applying for this position should be aware that an offer in the position will be contingent upon passing a comprehensive background check encompassing criminal records and motor vehicle reports.
- This position requires fluency in both verbal and written English to ensure effective communication in an active treatment facility. This is a critical safety precaution for the well-being of our clients and staff.
