About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, mission-driven Executive Director to provide overall leadership and operational oversight for our Teen Residential Facility in Castle Rock, Colorado. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for bringing together clinical excellence, operational performance, regulatory compliance, financial results, and a strong employee culture.

Reporting to the VP of Operations - West, the Executive Director will lead an interdisciplinary leadership team and ensure all departments are aligned around a shared goal: delivering exceptional care and service. This role has a direct impact on the experience of our clients, employees, and families. It is an opportunity to shape the culture and performance of an entire facility while leading teams committed to delivering meaningful, high-quality care.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide strategic and operational oversight across all departments including Clinical, Nursing, Behavioral Health Technicians, and Facilities. 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing interdisciplinary team.

  • Drive facility performance across client outcomes, employee engagement, safety, compliance, and culture.

  • Partner with clinical and operational leaders to ensure high-quality, safe, and effective client care.

  • Maintain a strong culture of regulatory and accreditation readiness, ensuring compliance is embedded in day-to-day operations.

  • Monitor key operational and financial metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate organizational goals into actionable facility-level priorities.

  • Identify operational challenges and lead sustainable solutions that improve both the client and employee experience.

  • Serve as a visible, engaged leader within the facility and broader organization.

 

 

 

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on leader who can see the entire operation, connect the dots across departments, and turn organizational goals into measurable results. You are comfortable making decisions that make an impact, holding leaders accountable, and balancing business performance with quality, safety, and client care. 

 

Qualifications 

Education 

  • Master's degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field required. 
  • Independent clinical licensure beneficial (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, Psychologist, RN, or equivalent). 

Experience & Training 

  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral healthcare, residential treatment, healthcare operations, or a related setting. 
  • 5+ years of experience leading managers and multidisciplinary teams. 
  • Experience overseeing residential treatment, withdrawal management, inpatient, or behavioral health programs strongly preferred. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational metrics. 
  • Experience leading accreditation, licensing, and regulatory compliance efforts. 
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed and evidence-based treatment models. 
  • Proven ability to lead change, improve organizational performance, and build high-performing teams.

What to Expect: Our Interview Process

Here's an overview of what comes next:

  3. Onsite Interview: You'll have an onsite interview with our VP of Operations.
  4. Final Panel Interview: You'll have a final interview with our Executive Team.
