POSITION SUMMARY As a Facilities Engineer, you are responsible for conducting preventative and corrective work to support the facility center’s operations of the power plant and infrastructure equipment, including mechanical equipment, boilers, co-generator engines, chillers, and emergency generators. You will review construction and remodeling projects and contracted mechanical work for code compliance and compatibility with existing mechanical and electrical systems. This role oversees the monitoring of automated facility systems, including tube transport, fire alarm systems, elevators, and medical gas systems, and works collaboratively with other trades to complete required tasks. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Inspect and service facility utility equipment and systems; keep the designated Facilities Services Manager informed of infrastructure needs or required changes to maintain safe and reliable operations. Coordinate the preventative maintenance program for all utility and infrastructure systems, including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, medical gas systems, water treatment programs, water distribution systems, building management systems, emergency generators, and associated components. Monitor and modify preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum effectiveness and provide all required documentation. Work with other divisions and departments to meet infrastructure and utility maintenance, installation, and construction needs; negotiate priorities, plan work schedules, and assign job tasks. Recommend the use of outside mechanical and utility specialty contractors as appropriate. Oversee and monitor outside mechanical and utility specialty contractors to ensure compliance with established healthcare standards. Schedule and monitor maintenance repair work, alterations, and renovation upgrades to facility infrastructure systems. Oversee infrastructure construction, installation, and commissioning activities to ensure system integrity and compliance. Instruct personnel regarding infrastructure and utility hazards and provide training, guidance, and oversight for safe equipment operation. Coordinate infrastructure parts, materials, and supplies within budgetary constraints; maintain replacement schedules and capital equipment records. Determine department specifications for infrastructure and utility system components. Review materials and installations during construction and remodeling projects to ensure quality and compliance. Maintain records to ensure compliance with all applicable Authorities Having Jurisdiction, including local, state, and federal regulatory codes. Attend required code compliance and regulatory update trainings. Perform all duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and professional standards. Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating organizational core and leadership behaviors. Work independently under general supervision while interacting with staff, patients, physicians, visitors, regulatory agencies, inspectors, contractors, and vendors. May oversee the work of staff and/or vendors as required. JOB DETAILS Pay Rate: $37.49 per hour  Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week Shift Schedule: Midshift | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Days Off: Sunday & Monday Working Days: Tuesday through Saturday REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of three (3) years of diversified experience as a plant mechanic, stationary engineer, boiler operator, refrigeration mechanic, or related field with demonstrated advanced skills in plant operations. Working knowledge and certification as required under applicable regulatory codes and state and local building codes. Strong knowledge of utility and infrastructure systems common to the healthcare environment. Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making. Ability to work safely and effectively with infrastructure and utility equipment. Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification may be required. Ability to read and interpret maintenance and construction documents. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in common office software programs. A valid driver’s license may be required depending on department needs. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Previous construction experience preferred. Three to five (3–5) years of healthcare Facilities Services experience preferred. Additional related education and/or experience preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand, climb, stoop, and bend frequently; position requires considerable physical activity. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to push carts and dollies weighing up to 500 pounds using proper body mechanics. Ability to tolerate exposure to toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, heights, high temperatures, and confined spaces. Adequate color vision and ability to wear required protective equipment. Ability to travel to various campus locations as needed. POSITION SUMMARYThe Patient Financial Coordinator supports the financial clearance and assistance process for patients and residents, including insurance verification, financial assessments, payment coordination, and financial assistance programs. This role works closely with patients, families, and internal teams to help ensure accurate financial information, appropriate reimbursement, and a positive patient experience. The position also supports compliance with applicable organizational policies and federal and state regulatory requirements.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct comprehensive financial assessments prior to patient admission to assess financial risk, including insurance eligibility and verification. Upload and enter all required financial documents, insurance, and identifiers into PCC once the patient is accepted by the facility. Re-verify eligibility and insurance verification for transitional patients from STC to LTC; notify and work with the Authorization Coordinator for any authorization and/or LOA  Collect patient responsibility from current patients/residents to mitigate the risk for accrued balances.  Develop payment solutions that support patients while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.   Exercise independent judgment in evaluating patient eligibility for financial assistance and reimbursement programs.   Assist patients in completing Medicaid, Charity Care, and other financial assistance applications, including gathering required documentation.   Monitor Medicaid application status and provide follow-up through final eligibility determination.   Resolve eligibility issues and assist with appeals as appropriate.   Prepare federally compliant Good Faith Estimates for uninsured and self-pay patients.   Ensure compliance with the No Surprises Act, CMS regulations, HIPAA, Price Transparency requirements, and other applicable federal and state regulations.   Maintain current knowledge of CMS regulations, Medicaid eligibility requirements, Hospital Charity Care regulations, No Surprises Act requirements, Good Faith Estimate requirements, and Price Transparency regulations.   Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation within applicable systems.   Provide compassionate, high-quality customer service while assisting patients through complex financial situations.   Serve as a resource to Patient Access, Referrals, Scheduling, and other internal departments regarding financial assistance processes.   Train and mentor new Financial Specialists as assigned.   Participate in quality improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and the patient experience.   Analyze financial assistance trends and contribute to reimbursement optimization and the reduction of uncompensated care.   Maintain established productivity, quality, and performance standards.   Perform other duties as assigned.   JOB DETAILS Pay Rate: $28.85 -$33.65 per hour Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week Shift Schedule: Day Days Off: Saturday & Sunday Working Days: Monday through Friday REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 3 years of healthcare experience, specializing in eligibility, insurance verification, and COB; preferably in SNF HIPAA, GFE, Price Transparency, No Surprises Act, Financial Assistance, including Charity Care, HCAI knowledge preferred  Working knowledge of PCC, preferred.
