Digital Merchandise Specialist
What's the Short Version?
The Digital Merchandise Specialist assists in the growth of our online business by analyzing and utilizing merchandising techniques to enhance our web product catalog offering. This position both maintains and administers product information, as well as maintenance to existing products. This role strives to ensure the customer experience is optimized via seasonal and off-cadence launches on multiple platforms and branded sites. A successful candidate will be detail orientated, capable of handling multiple concurrent projects, analytical, and be quick to understand the evolving needs of our customer.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Manage and update site content, online product catalog, and set up new products and promotional items; updates include categorization, product descriptions, keywords, attributes, color swatches administration and color display name.
- Own product administration via various marketing tools and ensure information is accurate.
- Responsible for product launch and execution via multiple Admin Tools.
- Partner with IT, Merchandising, Integrated Marketing, Studio Ops and Project Management Teams to ensure that all product information is set up accurately, meets deadlines and is maintained appropriately.
- Identify new opportunities and recommend ideas that enhance the online customer experience.
- Assist in process improvements to increase productivity and flow.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
What Are We Looking For?
- 4-6 years experience in eCommerce merchandising or equivalent education
- 1-3 years experience within apparel industry, B2B experience is a plus
- Experience launching and/or maintaining products on complex large-scale sites
- Knowledge of web and mobile technologies, CMS, CRM and marketing enterprise applications
- Knowledge of online marketing best practices
- Experience with Adobe creative suite, especially Acrobat, InDesign and Illustrator
- Superb verbal and written communication skills
What's Our Offer?
Salary Range: You`ll earn between $28.85 - $36.06 on an hourly basis, depending on experience.
Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 5% of base salary.
Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?
Hybrid: SanMar's Eastpointe office is located in Issaquah, WA in the Seattle metropolitan area. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. Quarterly travel may be required.
