What's the Short Version?

The Inside Sales Support Specialist delivers superior customer service to internal staff, ensuring quality interactions that create sustainable customer value and loyalty. The ISS Specialist ensures questions are addressed promptly and thoroughly. This role includes a heavy focus on technology, products, procedures, and problem resolution.

 

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Offer one call resolutions accurately and promptly to internal SanMar staff.
  • Help develop SanMar best practices on new processes/procedures along with providing guidance to Inside Sales on these best practices.
  • Research and analyze information using in-house proprietary software, internet, and other available resources to assist in decision making.
  • Help resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative and practical ways.
  • Log questions/situations and identify opportunities that will help the Inside Sales department with training opportunities.
  • Build productive internal working relationships with supervisors, and intra-departmental employees.
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
  • Stay current with changes and updates to policy, procedure, system, technology, and product information.
  • Offer training to employees on SanMar policy, procedure, system, technology, and product information.
  • Take escalated customer calls from staff when needed.
  • Take Sales and Customer Service calls as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

 

What Are We Looking For?

  • 4-6 years of related inside sales, account management, or sales training experience or equivalent education.
  • 1-3 years SanMar Inside Sales experience is preferred.
  • Possesses business acumen.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task between numerous assignments.
  • A process thinker seeking productivity and exceptional service.
  • Customer centric, enthusiastic, and passionate
  • Ability to work with and keep a positive, supportive attitude towards the Company, job, customers and co-workers.

 

What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $25.00 - $33.65 on an hourly basis, depending on experience.

 

Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to $2000 of base salary.

 

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

Remote: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
