Technical Program Manager
What's the Short Version?
The Technical Program Manager is responsible for program management of systems, technical infrastructure, telecommunications, and/or networks. The role drives planning, program management, and project execution. They unravel, define and document complex business requirements and processes using company designed methodologies and software (such as Scrum or Agile). They lead projects and programs by defining scope, objectives, results, and stakeholders.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Create and track assigned technical program and related project plans and milestones, managing scope, quality, time, and budget requirements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify solutions for problems, task management, resource requirements, task clarity, and training needs.
- Analyze workflow, establish priorities, develop deadlines, and other critical duties to support system and/or program operations.
- Track and propose solutions to technical issues, provide expertise to quickly resolve problems, and implement solutions for problems as they arise.
- Provide end-to-end coordination of engineering, design, and validation from product discovery through launch.
- Oversee project team and ensures task completion; identify potential problems that will prohibit productivity and delay deadlines.
- Identify and develop resource information (i.e., disaster response, strategic computing, information security and control).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
What Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- Master's Degree Project Management, Information Technology, MBA, or equivalent discipline Preferred
- 4-6 years of experience in an IT program or project management role
- 1-3 years in a lead capacity is preferred
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred
- Competency across a range of project management tools (e.g. MS Project, VSTS, Jira, CA PPM, Visio)
- Working knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle)
- Demonstrated delivery with an agile development methodology
- Experience managing software development and technical teams for multiple small and medium sized projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of software development methodologies
- Familiarity with and understanding of key technologies and platforms (e.g. web services, cloud)
- Ability to portray a positive attitude at all times; motivate and lead others
- Ability to interact with many different skill sets and roles within the company
- Ability and energy to work on multiple projects at a time and potentially switch projects as necessary, maintaining a strong quality focus on each
- Ability to self-manage in times of stress, and independently make timely decisions in alignment with business goals
- A curious mind, strong critical thinking skills, and a continuous drive to expand and learn for the future
- A bias for action with the ability to adapt quickly with a positive attitude toward change
- Ability to professionally drive change and process improvement in a loosely structured environment

What's Our Offer?
Salary Range: You`ll earn between $120,000 - $160,000 annually, depending on experience.
Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.
Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?
Hybrid: SanMar's Eastpointe office is located in Issaquah, WA in the Seattle metropolitan area. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. Quarterly travel may be required.
