Administrative Assistant II- Eastpointe
What's the Short Version?
The Administrative Assistant II, EP is responsible for supporting the Human Resources team as a confidential assistant and receptionist. The role performs office and administrative tasks.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Greet and receive customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phones and transfer calls on a multi-line telephone system.
- Provide information or directs caller/visitor to appropriate individual.
- Respond to customer and employee requests for information.
- Maintain the Reception Desk by keeping it clean and organized.
- Train others who backup front desk coverage in all aspects of the reception area.
- Responsible for sorting and distributing incoming mail.
- Manage the company birthday card program.
- Operate and administer internal USPS postal machine.
- Sell Company sponsored tickets for a variety of events, tracking and maintaining money securely.
- Own General HR voice mailbox assisting of routing sales and external calls to appropriate HR contacts.
- Maintain calendars, schedules and coordinate appointments as needed.
- Provide clerical/administrative support to the HR Team or other departments as needed; duties include photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
What Are We Looking For?
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years of Clerical/Administrative experience
- A high proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs.
- Ability to work with customers and co-workers and keep a positive, supportive attitude towards the Company and job; excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail, organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
- Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to change in the work environment.
What's Our Offer?
Salary Range: You`ll earn between $21.39 - $29.00 on an hourly basis, depending on experience.
Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 5% of base salary.
Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?
This is an on-site role and requires the employee to be at our Issaquah, WA office 5 days a week.
Office: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Work environment is moderately quiet. Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building. SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
