Senior Conversational UX & AI Designer

Job Description: We are looking for a User Interaction Specialist to optimize and elevate the user experience of or AI product, our advanced Conversational AI solution. This role is ideal for someone passionate about user-centered design, usability, and creating seamless and intuitive user interactions within AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User Experience Design: Collaborate with product and design teams to create intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces. Design interaction flows that support user needs, align with business goals, and maximize Conversational AI capabilities.
  • User Research & Testing: Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand users' behaviors, preferences, and needs. Synthesize findings into actionable insights to inform product and design decisions.
  • Conversation Design: Develop conversational flows, dialogue, and interaction models that make AI responses feel natural, helpful, and engaging. Work with AI trainers to refine responses based on user feedback and evolving language trends.
  • User Feedback Integration: Collect and analyze user feedback through surveys, reviews, and direct user engagement to identify areas for improvement. Prioritize and advocate for user-centered changes, ensuring an optimized experience that enhances user satisfaction.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Use analytics tools to monitor user behavior, engagement rates, and drop-off points. Identify patterns and insights to refine user interactions, reduce friction, and enhance the product's flow and functionality.
  • Collaborative Design Process: Work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to develop prototypes and bring interaction designs to life. Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive user experience goals.
  • Accessibility & Inclusivity Standards: Ensure user interfaces and conversational elements meet accessibility standards and are inclusive to diverse user demographics. Advocate for best practices in UI/UX that cater to a wide range of users, including those with disabilities.
  • Documentation & Guidelines: Develop and maintain design documentation, user personas, and interaction guidelines to ensure consistency across product updates and team alignment on interaction principles.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in user interaction design, UI/UX design, or a similar role focused on interactive products. Experience with AI-driven platforms, chatbots, or conversational interfaces is a plus.
  • Design Tools Proficiency: Skilled in industry-standard design tools (such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and prototyping tools. Familiarity with usability testing tools and analytics platforms is a plus.
  • User-Centric Mindset: Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and how to create intuitive and enjoyable user experiences.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding AI technologies, especially NLP (Natural Language Processing) and machine learning concepts related to user interaction design.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and advocate for design choices to various stakeholders.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Conversational Design Experience: Background in conversation design, chatbots, or similar interactive systems.
  • Empathy & Inclusivity Focus: Deep commitment to accessibility, inclusivity, and designing for diverse user demographics.
  • Innovation & Adaptability: Ability to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in user interaction and AI, with a desire to explore new techniques that can enhance user engagement.
