Senior Hyland OnBase Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Hyland OnBase Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Hyland OnBase, including system configuration, workflow automation, and integration with enterprise applications. This role requires a highly analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to design, implement, and maintain enterprise content management (ECM) solutions using OnBase.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Hyland OnBase solutions, including workflow automation and document management.
• Configure and customize OnBase modules, ensuring optimal performance and integration with existing enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain OnBase APIs and integrations with third-party applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, and other business platforms).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize OnBase solutions.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance, ensuring platform stability and security.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for OnBase configurations, workflows, and integrations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to end-users and internal teams.
• Stay up to date with Hyland OnBase best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with Hyland OnBase as a developer, consultant, or administrator.
• Strong knowledge of OnBase Workflow, WorkView, Unity Forms, and API integrations.
• Experience with OnBase Configuration, Scripting (C#, JavaScript), and ODBC connections.
• Hands-on experience in enterprise system integrations, including REST and SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and ability to write queries for troubleshooting and reporting.
• Experience working with cloud-based and on-premises OnBase deployments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Hyland OnBase Certification (such as OCAPI, OCWE, OCSA) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Hyland Brainware or other intelligent document processing tools.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and experience in ECM strategy development.
• Previous experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or government is a plus.

This role requires advanced proficiency in English, including the ability to communicate effectively with international teams and clients, participate in technical discussions, and produce clear documentation.
