Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Job Description:

We're looking for a proactive DevOps with solid AWS experience. Able to provide daily support to different internal teams on the current AWS cloud infrastructure using a variety of services, and to help debugging code when required. With experience and availability to join an on-call rotation schedule once a month. Required experience troubleshooting scenarios in low and production Linux environments helping to keep the current infrastructure up and running.

This person will also participate in a migration project to EKS, using IaC tools such as Terraform and CI/CD, to create and maintain applications and services with automated build and deployment pipelines.

Skills & Experience:

Required:

• AWS (must)
• AWS EKS and Docker  (must)
• Kubernetes (must)
• Bamboo, GitHub Actions or good experience in any other CI/CD tool. 
• AWS managed databases and caching services (RDS, ElastiCache, others)
• Nginx Passenger, Puma 
• New Relic, Grafana, Datadog, Kibana/Elasticsearch
• Scripting experience in Bash or Python
• Terraform (nice to have)
• Chef and/or Ansible configuration management (nice to have)
• Development Experience (Java, Python, Ruby for example) (nice to have)
• GCP / GKE (nice to have)
• Must be available 1 week a month to do on-call duty: 24-hour availability
• Candidates cannot have another job.

Advanced English:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to collaborate with global teams.
