Principal Back-End Developer (C# + .Net Core + Azure)

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Principal Back-End Developer with deep expertise in C#, .NET Core, and Azure Cloud Services. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in technical leadership, system architecture, and backend development at scale. As a principal engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing core backend services and APIs that power our platform.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable backend systems using C# and .NET Core.
• Define technical standards, code quality guidelines, and best practices across backend teams.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices deployed in Azure.
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure high availability, monitoring, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
• Mentor and guide other developers through code reviews, design sessions, and pair programming.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and architectural discussions with stakeholders.
• Drive innovation by evaluating and implementing new technologies that improve reliability and performance.
• Ensure system security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on .NET Core and C#.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, domain-driven design (DDD), and clean architecture principles.
• Deep experience in developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
• Proficiency with Azure services, including:
• App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB
• Azure Key Vault, Azure DevOps, Azure Service Bus, Blob Storage
• Strong experience with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, unit/integration testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with asynchronous programming, multithreading, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desirable:

• Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues (e.g., Azure Event Grid, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes in Azure.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Application Insights, Log Analytics, or New Relic.
• Background working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience in fintech, e-commerce, SaaS, or other high-scale platforms.

Advanced English:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
