Senior SDET Engineer

Job Description: We are looking for a Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality software delivery through engineering excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks for backend and frontend systems.
• Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous validation of builds.
• Collaborate closely with developers and QA engineers to identify test coverage gaps and improve product quality.
• Perform code reviews, mentor junior QA automation engineers, and promote testing best practices.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements in performance and reliability.
• Participate in architectural discussions to ensure testability and maintainability of systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an SDET, Software Engineer in Test, or similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C#.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software testing principles.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest.
• Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API testing, mocking tools, and microservices testing strategies.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and modern build tools (Maven, Gradle, npm).

Desirable:

• Experience with performance, load, or security testing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Advanced English:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
