As Senior Business Development, your primary responsibility will be to create and develop new business opportunities and drive the expansion of our client base. You’ll design and execute sales strategies aligned with industry-specific plans and the company’s objectives.
We’re looking for someone with a strong hunter mindset, who combines strategic thinking with relentless focus on new client acquisition. You should have excellent communication skills and a passion for building relationships, particularly in new business development.
This is a hands-on position.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and target potential clients to expand our customer base.
- Develop and implement aggressive, effective sales strategies to acquire new clients and achieve revenue goals.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and untapped business opportunities.
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders, with a focus on new business development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and support growth initiatives.
- Assist the sales team in identifying key conferences or events where the company should participate.
- Clearly report progress using the company’s CRM platform (Salesforce) as a core tool.
- Work closely with each Industry Lead to support their growth strategies. Current industries include Healthcare, Fintech, Food & Beverage, and AgTech.
- Collaborate with marketing and delivery teams to ensure cohesive messaging and offerings.
- Track key performance metrics and monitor sales performance, applying agile principles to continuously optimize sales processes and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and deal closures.
- Implement forecasting, budgeting, and sales planning processes.
Qualifications
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Proven experience in the software services industry.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or growth roles.
- Strong understanding of the software development industry, market trends, and competition.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and other sales/marketing tools.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Strong relationship-building and networking abilities with prospects and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Public Relations, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
