Job Description:

We are seeking a Semi Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our development cells dedicated to building a new home banking platform. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in quality assurance within Agile environments, focusing on both Web and Mobile testing, and possessing basic to intermediate automation skills using relevant tools and programming languages. This role is essential for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and secure banking applications.

Modality: On-site 3 times a week at the client's offices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts for Web and Mobile applications.

• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.

• Participate actively in QA activities within Agile methodologies.

• Work with developers to ensure proper test coverage and implement robust automation solutions.

• Utilize Test & Defect management tools to track, report, and manage quality issues.

• Perform basic SQL DB queries for data validation and test setup.

• Contribute to improving CI/CD processes and implementing reporting tools like Allure Report.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Developers, Product Owners) to deliver high-quality features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on Automation.

• English proficiency is not required for this position.

• Experience with Test & Defect management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

• Solid knowledge of QA processes in Agile environments for both Mobile and Web testing.

• Proficiency in a programming language used for automation (TS/JS, Java, or Python).

• Practical experience with API testing and tools like Postman (or SoapUI).

• Basic knowledge of SQL DB queries for testing purposes.

• Familiarity with at least one automation framework/tool (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Playwright).

Desirable

• Experience with performance testing tools like jMeter.

• Experience using code editors/IDEs like PyCharm.

• Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Behave.

• Experience generating comprehensive reports with tools like Allure Report.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
