Senior Data Engineer (Must: Snowflake and SQL scripting)

Job Description: 

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our data team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional experience in designing and building scalable data pipelines, with an advanced command of Snowflake and the creation of complex SQL scripts for the transformation and optimization of large data volumes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data architectures and data warehouses using Snowflake.
• Build robust and efficient ETL/ELT processes using AWS Glue, Lambdas, and Airflow.
• Write and maintain complex SQL scripts for data processing, cleaning, and modeling.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to ensure information availability and quality.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud data platforms.

Requirements (Must-Have)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Advanced Mastery of Snowflake (architecture, query optimization, and storage management).
• Expert in SQL Scripting: Ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Solid experience working with AWS services (Glue, Lambdas, S3, Redshift, etc.).
• Experience in data workflow orchestration using Airflow.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Desirable

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DataOps practices.
• Experience within the Finance or Fintech industries.

Location: 100% Remote.
