Job Description: Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing components and features, developing them into automated tests, and contributing to high-level quality engineering discussions. You will work independently while contributing to cross-functional teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Automation Strategy: Own and deliver quality engineering tasks, focusing on automating manual test scenarios using Playwright or Cypress.
• Test Development: Develop and execute maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
• Continuous Integration: Integrate project testing with CI/CD processes and apply SDLC principles, including Lean, Agile, and Software Security.
• Collaboration & Mentoring: Work with team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions, while mentoring and helping other engineers grow.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expertise in testing methodology and test planning, making technology choices at an individual level and analyzing their impact.
• Documentation: Maintain high standards of documentation and best practices for refactoring and testing techniques.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in test automation for web services and complex software projects.
• Technical Skills: Strong ability to write JavaScript code for the purpose of creating automated test cases.
• Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Lean project management systems and issue-tracking tools.
• Infrastructure: Experience working with virtual machines (VMs) as part of a test/integration infrastructure.
• Problem Solving: Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements, and estimating efforts effectively.
• English: Advanced English proficiency is required (Excellent verbal and written communication skills).
