
Marketing Internship | Marketing & Brand Activation Intern

Role Overview
This intern will support one of the Marketing team’s top priorities: preparing for a full semester of Fall grand opening events and activations across multiple campuses. This role is focused on the upfront planning work that makes these activations successful, such as deep research, vendor coordination, and building highly detailed run-of-shows. You’ll play a key role in setting the foundation for execution, ensuring every event is thoughtfully planned, organized, and ready to go well in advance.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct research and source vendor options (catering, rentals, entertainment, etc.) aligned to each campus and budget
- Coordinate vendor outreach, gather details (availability, pricing, offerings), and organize options for decision-making
- Build and refine detailed run-of-shows for each grand opening, ensuring all elements are mapped out
- Maintain organized trackers for vendors, event elements, and key contacts
- Update provided marketing asset templates to help advertise the cafe coming soon to campus across physical and digital touch points
- Develop templates and tools that standardize planning and can be used across all Fall openings
- Support preparation of materials needed for internal alignment and partner conversations
- Assist in the onboarding and support of our Fall 2026 Student VPs of Campus Marketing
- Assist in campaign preparations for the Fall 2026 semester and brainstorm content ideas and trends for Saxbys social media
- Audit all Saxbys campuses to confirm the brand is listed correctly on university dining webpages and flag gaps or updates needed
- Participate in bi-weekly Culture Radar meetings with the Saxbys Product & Marketing Team

- Each Fall opening has a clear, detailed, and execution-ready run-of-show
- Vendor options are researched, organized, and ready for selection
- Timelines are proactive, clear, and account for overlapping priorities
- All planning materials are centralized, easy to navigate, and scalable

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple timelines and workstreams simultaneously
- Confidence in researching, synthesizing, and presenting information clearly
- Clear, professional written communication
- Interest in event planning, partnerships, or brand marketing
