Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager that will sit inside SAX Wealth Advisor team. We’re ideally looking for someone local to the NY Metro, NJ, PA, or CT area. The successful candidate will prepare financial reports and tax projections, prepare income tax returns, ensure compliance with regulations, and support financial planning initiatives to help our clients and the team of Wealth Advisors achieve financial success.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards. 
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations 
  • Prepare annual tax returns for clients  
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities 
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff and associate wealth advisors 
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and best practices 
  • Collaborate with Wealth Advisors to support client financial strategies 
  • Prepare and present on-going income tax projections to determine any strategies a client can implement 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or EA certification is preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial services or planning. 
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., CCH ProSystem fx Tax, Holistiplan, BNA Income Tax Planner, QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite. 
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. 
  • Ethical and professional integrity.

New Jersey Pay Range

$125,000 - $150,000 USD

New York Pay Range
