POSITION DESCRIPTION

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Sayari and a dynamic team of experts and incredible leaders as an Analyst. We are revolutionizing the TPRM (Third-Party Risk Management) industry by automating risk analysis with NLP, AI and ML. 

The Analyst will play a key role in projects at the intersection of data, AI models, and TPRM. This position involves analyzing large datasets and documents, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing AI model interactions through effective prompting, and evaluating performance metrics to enhance the effectiveness of AI models.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and analyze extensive documentation to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and project objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, risk management professionals, product, engineering, and other stakeholders, to achieve project objectives effectively.
  • Analyze reports on model performance, providing actionable insights to drive improvements in accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement new frameworks to expand model coverage and address emerging risks.
  • Create structured datasets to support model training, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and relevance to project objectives.
  • Design and refine prompts for AI systems to extract relevant risk insights from complex documentation and datasets.
  • Test and iterate on prompt strategies to improve model output quality and consistency for risk assessment tasks.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT Audit/Risk management, security assessments or third-party vendor risk management.
  • High proficiency in English and the ability to read large volumes of text.
  • Understand the Third-party risk management lifecycle and relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.  
  • Critical thinking, attention to detail, strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Able to build solid working relationships with peers as well as internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Excel  and strong analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret large datasets and documents.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience within an intense, fast-paced, goal-oriented startup environment - ideally from a TPRM or cyber–Security Risk product company.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, CSA, CIS, HITRUST, and SOC 2.
  • Knowledge in SQL & Python
  • Experience with AI/ML systems, including:
    • Understanding of AI model evaluation metrics and performance analysis
    • Prompt engineering skills (e.g., few-shot learning, chain-of-thought prompting)
    • Familiarity with LLM platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar
