Position Description

The Services team at Sayari has mastered the use of public data in complex investigations and supply chain screening — and ensures that our customers can do the same. Services Analysts are first and foremost expert analytical practitioners. They thrive on tackling difficult investigations, uncovering critical risk insights, and delivering high-quality, well-structured analytical products that directly serve customer missions.

But Services Analysts are also intuitive communicators and trusted advisors. They ensure that our customers — whether government agencies managing national security priorities or multinational corporations navigating global trade risk — can successfully leverage Sayari products to achieve their objectives. Success is measured by the quality of analytical deliverables, SLA adherence, customer satisfaction, and the growth of engagement within accounts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Become a trusted partner for customers, helping them leverage Sayari products and expertise to analyze and measure their exposure to global business partner, supply chain, and investigative risk
  • Create, deliver, and brief compliance reports, case analyses, and investigative deliverables to customer stakeholders — across L1, L2, and L3 report types as applicable
  • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures while conducting screening, adjudication support, and QA on analytical outputs
  • Design and deliver customer training sessions and collaborative workshops; adapt select content for public audiences
  • Maintain expertise and develop novel approaches to address critical and emerging priorities of Sayari's customers
  • Develop and apply AI prompt engineering techniques to drive efficiency and quality in analytical reporting workflows
  • Provide timely, high-quality support to clients across a range of challenges — from entity-level risk assessment to supply chain screening and detention response
  • Coordinate with the Revenue team to identify and pursue opportunities to expand Sayari's engagements within accounts
  • Serve as an in-house super-user of Sayari's products, surfacing actionable product feedback to the Product and Engineering teams

Skills & Experience

Required

  • Analytical foundation: 3–5+ years of experience conducting supply chain risk screening, trade compliance, export controls, sanctions, financial crime analysis, open-source investigations, or related work — examples include compliance officer, intelligence analyst, investigative journalist, customs broker, import/export compliance specialist (relevant education may count toward experience)
  • Analytical writing: very strong written communication skills; able to produce clear, accurate, structured reports under tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
  • Customer communication: 2–4+ years of proven success in customer interactions and briefings — equally confident with prepared remarks and extemporaneous Q&A
  • Project management: ability to plan and manage projects independently, prioritize competing demands, and deliver to a high standard
  • Regulatory familiarity: familiar with global regulations relevant to Sayari customers — import/export, third-party risk, ESG, sanctions, anti-bribery/anti-corruption

Preferred

  • Professional fluency in one or more priority languages: Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, or French
  • Regional analytic expertise: Latin America, Asia, Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe
  • Experience with AI prompt engineering and applying AI tools to analytical or reporting workflows

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
