Position Overview

We are seeking a Content Creator who will be a key player on our social team, responsible for developing, pitching, and executing timely, social first, and trend based content. 

This role focuses on strategic social media listening, data-driven optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional results for some of the world's leading brands.

The Content Creator will lead social media asset creation, develop platform-specific content series, and drive measurable engagement across current and emerging social platforms. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on social media creative skills to ensure our clients' social presence aligns with their broader marketing objectives.

Location and Salary

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Los Angeles with a salary range of $70,000-$95,000 depending on experience. This person must be LA-based and available to come into the Saylor office in Echo Park on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

  • Develop social media strategic content development and execution for varying clients
  • Ideate high performing real-time social media creative that engages audiences 
  • Execute platform-specific creative for Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, and/or YouTube Shorts that maximize native engagement and leverage each platform's unique features
  • Provide creative recommendations and optimization plans based on performance data and industry benchmarks
  • Monitor and analyze cultural trends, breaking news, and platform updates to inform creative development and identify opportunities
  • Oversee and manage client social media accounts in partnership with other departments, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies and objectives
  • Serve as the social point of contact for daily client communications, creating and implementing internal and external solutions as needed
  • Create and manage editorial calendars that support brand and campaign initiatives
  • Support content publishing and community management across social platforms, maintaining consistent brand voice and engagement standards
  • Support in presenting strategies and performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in social media creative development and social media marketing
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media creative
  • Incredible social-first, fast creative execution that earns high engagement
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in social media metrics and reporting
  • Demonstrated expertise across major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok especially)
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (Sprout, Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite)
  • Excellence in project management and meeting deadlines
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience presenting to clients and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to build and grow social media audiences
  • Deep understanding of social media best practices and platform-specific requirements
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
