Executive Assistant

Los Angeles, CA

About Saylor

Saylor is an entertainment-led creative agency built for brands that want to earn attention, not interrupt it. Founded by former Netflix and Disney marketers, we exist at the intersection of culture, storytelling, and strategy, bringing the sensibility of entertainment to brands ready to act less like advertisers and more like creators. Saylor exists to help brands become the show - not the ad break. We watched agencies keep making ads in a world where people want to be entertained. We started Saylor to change that: To help brands act like creators, not corporations. To think like publishers, not advertisers. To stop chasing attention, and start earning it. We’re a tight‐knit crew who collaborate without ego, stay curious, and always show up for one another. We foster a supportive space where diverse perspectives are celebrated, hierarchy never blocks great ideas, and everyone is empowered to jump in, solve problems, and push creative boundaries together.

Position Overview
Saylor seeks a hyper-organized, proactive, and exceptionally dialed-in Executive Assistant to directly support our Chief Executive Officer.

This is a dedicated partnership role for a career EA—someone who takes immense pride in the craft of executive operational support, thrives on creating seamless structure out of chaos, and finds genuine satisfaction in being the ultimate force multiplier for a busy agency leader. As the CEO’s right-hand partner, you will manage day-to-day operations, calendar choreography, high-stakes communication, travel logistics, and key strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate for this role is an eagle-eyed, detail-obsessed problem solver who stays five steps ahead at all times. You remain calm and resourceful under pressure, manage up effortlessly, and are genuinely energized by keeping a fast-paced agency executive operating at peak performance.

Location and Salary

This is a full-time, exempt role with a salary range of $80,000 – $115,000, depending on experience. This person must be LA-based and available to come into the Saylor office in Echo Park four days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as strategic gatekeeper, seamlessly orchestrating the CEO’s complex calendar, balancing internal team priorities, pitch meetings, external networking, and personal commitments
  • Build complex, detail-oriented domestic and international travel itineraries, managing flights, accommodations, ground transport, and dynamic schedule adjustments on the fly
  • Filter, prioritize, and handle sensitive internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO with absolute discretion and professionalism
  • Manage executive expense reports, credit card reconciliation, vendor invoices, and administrative tasks accurately and on time
  • Protect the CEO's focus time, helping optimize work hours and ensuring high-priority agency initiatives take precedence over non-essential requests
  • Act as a seamless bridge between the CEO, leadership team, creative department, and clients to drive follow-through on key action items
  • Spearhead special projects, leadership offsites, agency events, client gifting initiatives, and key operational updates assigned directly by the CEO
  • Maintain high emotional intelligence and utmost discretion when handling confidential business, financial, and personnel matters

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant directly supporting C-suite executives, founders, or senior leadership in creative agencies, media, entertainment, or fast-paced startup environments
  • A true career EA mindset with a genuine passion for executive operational support as a primary profession
  • Exceptional organizational skills and an eagle eye for detail with zero tolerance for items slipping through the cracks
  • Proven track record of anticipating needs, spotting bottlenecks, and solving complex problems independently before they reach the executive desk
  • High degree of composure, adaptability, and grace under pressure in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with a warm, diplomatic, and executive-ready voice
  • Tech-savvy proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets), Slack, and modern project management tools (Asana, Notion, Monday, or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain total confidentiality and manage sensitive company information with absolute integrity
  • Strong initiative, self-direction, and experience overseeing executive projects from concept through flawless completion

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, health insurance, 401k, generous vacation, and great opportunities for growth within the company.
