Position Overview
Saylor is looking for an Account Manager to play a crucial role in fostering strong client relationships, managing projects from conception to execution, and ensuring the successful delivery of campaigns/content. To do so, they will collaborate closely with internal teams, including Strategy, Creative, and Production. 

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creativity, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in client management and project coordination within the marketing or advertising industry. We are looking for a true team leader with the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously. 

Location and Salary
This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position with an hourly rate of $40-$50 per hour based on experience. This role is based in Los Angeles, CA. There will be occasions when in-office presence, at either our Echo Park HQ or a client’s office, is required based on the needs of specific accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, objectives, and expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and proactive account management.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop, enhance, and refine comprehensive briefs, ensuring a clear understanding of project requirements, goals, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including creative, strategy, and production, to develop and execute client campaigns that meet or exceed expectations; elevating creative where possible. 
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery and optimal utilization of agency resources.
  • Provide strategic guidance and insights to clients, leveraging industry trends and best practices to drive campaign success.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide clients with detailed campaign reports, highlighting key metrics, insights, and recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging trends, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges for clients.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the agency, actively promoting our services and capabilities to existing and potential clients.
  • Write SOW documents and craft budgets for projects, understanding resource allocation 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in account management—specifically experience supporting clients across the gaming industry, including hardware vendors, game developers, and/or mobile gaming
  • Background and affinity for genre entertainment spaces, including sci-fi, anime, fantasy, and animation
  • Able to effectively communicate with clients with minimal oversight 
  • 1+ years of experience managing a team (preferably with remote workers)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to make recommendations to our client partners based on their goals and industry best practices
  • Experience building and presenting campaign briefs and wrap decks. Comfortable speaking to the social/digital executions
  • Desire to be in a highly visible and cross-functional role. With exposure to senior clients through nearly every internal team, from social to strategy to creative
  • A positive attitude and growth mindset
  • Demonstrated experience leading marketing campaigns from start to finish
  • Deep knowledge of social media best practices
  • A passion for leading and developing new talent 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable strategy
  • Advanced presentation skills
