Instructional Designer
The Role
We are seeking a creative, efficient, and highly collaborative Instructional Designer to join our Sales Enablement team. The core mission of this role is to design and develop high-quality, engaging, and relevant learning experiences that equip our sales team. You will be a champion for the learner experience, ensuring content is delivered quickly, maintains a high standard of quality, and is adaptable to the diverse needs of our sales organization.
You will:
- Design and develop a wide range of high-quality, multi-modal learning assets from concept to deployment, applying proven adult learning theories and instructional design methods.
- Create compelling on-demand assets (eLearning, videos), materials for live virtual and in-person training, and performance support tools (job aids, process documentation, user guides).
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of content requests, demonstrating the ability to work quickly and efficiently to deliver finished assets within rapid production cycles.
- Serve as the learning partner, collaborating closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Sales Leaders, and cross-functional teams to transform complex information into clear, actionable learning experiences.
- Conduct audience analysis to tailor content effectively, ensuring relevance and ease of consumption for distinct sales roles.
- Develop learning objectives and corresponding content, ensuring content quality remains consistent throughout the entire learning journey.
- Facilitate and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure continuous collaboration and high-quality learning assets.
- Assist in maintaining the Learning and Content Management Systems to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and easy for the sales team to access.
- Utilize graphic design principles to ensure all materials are professional, visually engaging, and maximize learner consumption.
Ideally you’ll have:
- 2+ years of professional experience in an Instructional Designer, Sales Enablement Associate, or similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proven success working collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts and diverse internal stakeholders.
- Thorough knowledge of adult learning theories, principles, and methods, with demonstrated ability to apply them to fast-paced, performance-focused learning assets.
- Proven experience building engaging learning experiences across different modalities (on-demand, ILT, vILT, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically with an emphasis on clear, concise instructional writing.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, concurrent high-priority projects while staying highly organized and meeting tight deadlines.
Nice to haves:
- Experience working with a Sales Enablement Platform (CMS/LMS) for content deployment and tracking.
- Prior experience or deep familiarity with the B2B sales process and sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger)
- Experience working within the AI or Software industry
- Basic video editing skills (using Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar) for creating quick, high-impact microlearning content.
