About the Role

Our Sales Team is looking to hire a Territory Sales Representative for a remote position in the United States. The Territory Sales Representative will be instrumental in driving consistent production and growth within your assigned territory. This role focuses on developing and managing a robust sales pipeline, cultivating strong partner relationships, and actively participating in field marketing events. Scale Computing is a 100% channel-based company, emphasizing the importance of effective partner engagement. You'll be a key player in delivering innovative IT infrastructure solutions to MSPs, small-to-medium IT shops, and distributed enterprises, contributing to our mission of changing traditional IT infrastructure thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage an assigned sales territory
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Recruit and develop strategic partner relationships
  • Staff and participate in various field marketing events
  • Deliver consistent production and growth in line with company goals
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Requirements

  • BA or BS Degree
  • 5+ years of technical sales experience
  • Proven track record of outperforming sales goals
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and Channel Sales
  • Proficient in verbal and written communications, including presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs and priorities
  • Ability to work across all levels of an organization
  • Personal qualities: integrity, strong work ethic, self-motivation, creativity, and a team player

Other useful skills/experience

  • Experience working within a 100% channel-based sales environment
  • Ability to understand how technology solutions can solve business problems
  • Experience communicating with senior managers and executives about business challenges
