About the role

The Alliance Marketing Manager will drive strategic marketing initiatives to enhance relationships with key technology alliance partners. This role involves developing joint go-to-market strategies, managing co-marketing activities, and creating marketing assets that promote mutual growth. The Alliance Marketing Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with corporate marketing, sales, product management, and channel account management teams to ensure alignment with company objectives.

  • Must have strong analytical skills with extreme proficiency in Google Suite 
  • Ability to “roll up your sleeves” and dive into the weeds as needed to meet KPIs
  • Experience with Salesforce and Pardot (or equivalent)
  • Experience with Partner Relationship Management (PRM) technology platforms (Impartner, Zift, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Alliance Strategy and Management: Onboard, develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for technology alliances, aligning with overall business objectives. Build relationships with tech partners to drive awareness and growth across joint segments and customers. Develop and maintain core alliance documents, including messaging guides, customer presentations, and solution briefs.
  • Joint Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute joint marketing campaigns with select alliance partners to drive lead generation, customer and partner acquisition, and brand awareness. Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights for continuous improvement. 
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate with channel and field marketing teams on key industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote technology alliances and strengthen relationships and pipeline. Organize and host webinars or virtual events to showcase joint solutions and engage target audiences. 
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics such as marketing qualified leads, marketing sourced pipeline, marketing influenced pipeline, and deal registrations. Share reports, insights, and recommendations with partners and stakeholders. 
  • Collaboration: Facilitate communication and coordination across teams (marketing, sales, product, technical) to align goals, priorities, and projects. Organize cross-functional meetings and workshops to address challenges, share information, and improve workflows. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technology marketing/communications/partner marketing
  • Familiar with a variety of Marketing concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Experience working in international markets is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

  • Some early, late, or weekend hours may be required
  • Some travel may be a requirement for the position
  • Sitting, standing, lifting, and pulling may be required.
