Who We're Seeking:

We’re looking for an experienced patent agent who is looking to expand their practice with a national firm.

Role responsibilities include working with the firm's clients in all aspects of patent prosecution, including in evaluating invention disclosures, preparing and prosecuting patent applications and conducting landscape studies and analyzing third party patents. Our patent agents collaborate closely with our patent attorneys and other attorneys in the firm wherever IP support is needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least five give years of patent prosecution experience, as a patent agent, within a national or regional law firm.
  • Superior technological background with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field;  preferably M.S. or higher.
  • Admittance to the Patent Bar.
  • Acted as a primary contact for clients in patent prosecution and strategic counseling matters.
  • Enjoy managing your own practice but appreciate the value of having a team and infrastructure to support your growth.
  • Are team- and growth-oriented, and enjoy working with colleagues who share this approach.
  • An interest in having autonomy over your own practice while simultaneously teaming up with top-notch attorneys across our corporate, fintech, intellectual property, real estate and litigation practices.  
  • A desire to practice at a high level with interesting clients, benefitting from the support, network and brand of a firm while also enjoying solo economics.
