As a Business Advisory Senior, you will provide support on a variety of consulting engagements and will be working in a team environment with our professionals in our Business Advisory Services group on wide-ranging projects including investigations of potential fraud and financial misconduct, due diligence, technical accounting advisory projects, financial modeling, post-merger integration, accounting triage, outsourced corporate accounting and finance support including financial statement preparation, and valuations of closely held businesses.
This is an opportunity to transition from a traditional accounting role to one focused on advisory / consulting services to support the ever-emerging needs of our clients.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Consult with clients on complex accounting and finance issues which may include, but are not limited to, technical accounting issues, financial reporting, operational accounting, and post-merger integration
- Technical accounting advisory projects require detailed assessment, research, detailed testing procedures and technical writing
- Assist with the execution of financial and operational due diligence for clients, including transaction-oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and management buyouts
- Participate on and complete forensic and litigation engagements/special assignments
- Assist our managed accounting services group with outsourced accounting and finance services performing Controller-level and Accounting Manager-level responsibilities for the client
- Compile material for deposition or trial as requested
- Prepare valuations
- Prepare and analyze complex financial models
- Analysis of large data sets to identify trends, patterns and relationships
- Excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other related technical discipline
- Minimum of three years of Audit, transactions and/or consulting experience
- Prior public accounting experience
- CPA, CFE or CFF certificate preferred, but not required
